Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Blair was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Genesis Land Development Corp. in October, 2011 after having served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since December of 2009. Prior to this Mr. Blair was Land Division Manager and was responsible for managing the planning approval and development process for all Genesis land development projects. Mr. Blair came to Genesis having held positions with the City of Airdrie Planning Department and the City of Calgary Transportation Department.

During his 20 year career in the land development industry Mr. Blair has been responsible for obtaining Land Use approval for over 2,000 acres in the Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, as well as, the development and adoption of Municipal Development Plans, Area Structure Plans, and Outline Plans.

Mr. Blair is a member of The Canadian Institute of Planners and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Certificate in Environmental Management.
