Genesis has been building quality communities in Calgary and Airdrie for many years. We have always believed in giving back to the community, and have done so in a variety of ways.

For example, we are the naming sponsor for Genesis Place, a state-of-the-art recreation and fitness centre in Airdrie. Genesis provided a $2-million sponsorship for a major renovation and expansion to Genesis Place.

In northeast Calgary, Genesis gave $5 million toward the cost of the Genesis Centre of Community Wellness, an outstanding active lifestyle recreational centre, scheduled for completion in late 2011 in the community of Saddle Ridge.

It’s all part of the Genesis philosophy of giving back – so that children and families can enjoy quality recreational facilities in their community, and get involved in healthy, constructive activities.

Genesis is always there to give a helping hand to those less fortunate. At Christmas time, for example, we sponsor families for the holiday season, buying Christmas presents, filling up food hampers, and providing gift certificates. We also collect items for a food drive at Christmas for families in need.
